Every Wednesday at 7.30 pm something happens that seems unusual to people visiting Galtür for the first time. Suddenly the sky turns as light as day. How come? It’s the brilliant light from the Birkhahn lift turning night into day – until 10.30 at night! That’s when all those moonstruck skiers and boarders throng under the spotlight on the 2.2 km piste. Incidentally it’s one of the longest of its kind in Austria . And after the night skiing session, Galtür’s diverse pubs and restaurants attract the crowds.

Skiing under a starry sky, beneath the three-thousand metre shadows of the Silvretta range... enjoy this unique experience. The night skiing excursion is on every Wednesday, weather permitting. The Birkhahn lift operates from 7.30 – 10.30 pm.
Night skiing tickets are available at a reduced price when
bought together with your ski pass.

No ski passes – except the Galtür season ticket – are valid for night skiing.
